The Robert E. Primosch Clinical Education Center in Gainesville provides dental care to children and adolescents up to 21 years of age with special attention to patients with special health care needs on a referral basis.The Department of Pediatric Dentistry provides dental care to children and adolescents up to 21 years of age with special attention to patients with special health care needs on a referral basis.Patient care is provided in several different clinics. All treatment locations participate in student and resident training and fees are adjusted according to the type of provider and payment plan. A limited number of emergency appointments are available.About Our LocationThe newly renovated Robert E. Primosch Clinical Education Center includes 11 private operatories, a four-chair open bay, two radiology rooms, a simulation station with two pediatric dental simulators, and two sedation suites and a recovery room for patients who need extensive dental work done or who have high anxiety or other issues with dental treatment.Parents often have many concerns about proper oral health care for their children. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry has developed a website called Pediatric Oral Health Information for Parents that will answer many of your questions.Reduced-Fee Dental CareUF College of Dentistry students and faculty participate in programs such as the We Care Physicians Network (352-334-7926) and CHOICES. Such programs provide limited services for qualified individuals that may be reduced in fees.
