DENTAL SERVICES
The HCH program offers dental services to people experiencing homelessness. A dental referral by Public Health HCH staff is required. Dental referrals are obtained at any of the HCH Shelter Health Care Center sites during a patient visit with a doctor or nurse. Dental services are provided by Santa Barbara Neighborhood Eastside Family Dental Clinic.
Services provided:
Exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Other services may be available based on dental center treatment plans and available resources.
Eligibility and Access to Services:
Dental services are for individuals who are experiencing homelessness and live in Santa Barbara County. A referral is required prior to visiting the dental clinic. The dental clinic will treat all qualified patients regardless of their ability to pay or whether they are insured by a third party.
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:45am - 6:30pm
Fees: Medi-Cal, sliding fee scale
